future pilot?

I don't really have anything to say about these pictures. They are pretty self explanatory :) My boy is pretty much the cutest little guy flying an airplane. Pretty much sums it up right? Love that he loves to be outside all day!

blast from the past

Shocker! Our computer charger is missing! I've been waiting for it to show up somewhere, but I'm tired of waiting. I decided to update on my dad's computer. The bad thing about that is that there are no pictures saved on it! Out of the 5 pictures that he has on here, this is one of them. I love it! Look at my sweet Sammy boy. And I'm actually not pregnant and fat in a picture! Sighhhhhh......

I have pictures to share with you, and tomorrow I will stop being lazy and buy a new charger. But for now, enjoy the sweetness :)

PS- Hopefully I will get some pictures from Aunt Abby from the past weekend! Levi spent the night in Austin for the first time by himself.

PSS- I'm 30 weeks pregnant....holy crap, this baby is coming soon!

And a special shout out to Aunt Abby for taking and sending us all these awesome pics. We love you!

34 &28

Aaron turned 34 a few days ago! Such an old man ;) We were wild and crazy and celebrated with dinner with friends! I'm also 28 weeks pregnant now. I've been going to the doctor pretty much weekly. One thing I will definitely not miss about being pregnant is all the doctors appointments! With the first pregnancy you love going to the doctor. The second is still exciting but a little more difficult with a kiddo to tote around. By the third, you are lucky to make it to an appointment by yourself and pretty much pay attention to nothing because you're either holding your baby across your chest while you get an ultrasound, or your holding your baby on your lap while giving 5 viles of blood, or explaining to your 4.5 year old why he can't have one of those stirrup tables for his birthday. All true stories. Today I was back there (by myself which is quite nice) to find out that I failed my first glucose test. Shocker. So tomorrow I have to be there before 8:30AM to start my 3 hour glucose test. I've had gestational diabetes with my other two pregnancies, so I'm pretty sure this is not going to be any different. I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of looking forward to my three hour break sitting in a waiting room. I'm planning on starting a new book. Oh the things that I get excited about these days :)

On a completely different note, we did such a fun experiment! I'm sure anyone who has ever been a teacher has done this. I had not though! I saw it posted on facebook and it looked to easy not to try. Do this if you haven't already. It works!

Make Ice Cream in a Plastic Bag

1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cups crushed ice
4 tablespoons salt
2 quart size Zip-loc bags
1 gallon size Zip-loc freezer bag

Mix the milk, vanilla and sugar together in one of the quart size bags. Seal tightly, allowing as little air to remain in the bag as possible. Too much air left inside may force the bag open during shaking. Place this bag inside the other quart size bag, again leaving as little air inside as possible and sealing well. By double-bagging, the risk of salt and ice leaking into the ice cream is minimized. Put the two bags inside the gallon size bag and fill the bag with ice, then sprinkle salt on top. Again let all the air escape and seal the bag. Wrap the bag in the towel or put your gloves on, and shake and massage the bag, making sure the ice surrounds the cream mixture. Five to eight minutes is adequate time for the mixture to freeze into ice cream.

Here we are shaking our bag!

Doesn't look very appetizing but it's frozen!

Sam's a little unsure of this first bite....

Success! My smiley face picture would not upload for some reason, but I promise he ate the whole thing! Do not judge this recipe based on his expression above )

pretty days!

The weather has been so nice outside! All the boys want to do is play outside which is fine by me. (except for all of this awful pollen!) Levi really loves to play with his best buddy, Spot. These two are quite the pair. Levi makes sure Spot is well fed, helps him keep his bed warm, and has become quite the ball thrower. Spot on the other hand is Levi's protector. He sleeps on the top step of the stairs while Levi naps and will bark to let us know when he's awake! He might also have a little problem with early wake-ups when he lets himself into Levi's room. I don't know who is going to miss who more when we leave my parents house. (which will hopefully be in the next week!)

Sam has been really in to experiments. We found this mini volcano one on pinterest and I have a feeling we will be doing it often! All you need is food coloring, vinegar, and baking soda. I love Sam's genuine expressions!

And last but not least is baby boy #3! Can you believe there is going to be 3 of them in a few short months?! Me either! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything looks great! Knock on wood, but so far so good on everything. He said the baby looks perfect! He weighed in at 2.6 pounds and is cute as can be. Who do you think he looks like, Sam or Levi????????

Sam and his daddy

Sam loves playing with his daddy! They race bikes and play cops and bad guys...

go on bear hunting adventures in the woods!

play grocery store which closely resembles the soup nazi's kitchen. You better not step out of line or you will be booted out!

zip line in the woods!

And just all around have a good time.

And had to post one pic of this little cutie. Bath time has become one of our favorite things! Even though he pretty much poops in there every time we're bathing. Nasty mess! Good thing you're cute or we would be having some real problems!

Goofballs

I've got some happy boys! It's so funny how different their personalities are. Levi is such a silly, flirty, fun loving guy who can't wait to be a big boy! He's got quite the temper on him too :)

Sam is my super sweet, cuddly, homebody who has no problem being my baby! He wants me to hold him more than Levi does. Can't say that I mind that though :)

Both boys are active and wild for sure! They are starting to play together some now which is so fun to watch. It's so exciting to think about how the new baby will be. Not to much longer!
