Fun and Games

Is it to early for babies to teethe? Levi is not even 3 months and I swear he has started teething. All of a sudden he's grabbing things and shoving them in his mouth, and he's started to drool. It seems to early, but I think it's starting.... PS- I even had to break Sophie girl out of her box! (she's the famous giraffe) Sam is already jealous!

Valentine's Day! Sam decided to make daddy some special cookies for v-day. I literally turned around for a second and the entire box of baking soda was in the bowl. I was also to lazy to care and start over, so daddy had a nice surprise when he tasted his cookies!

Little boy, I just had to post a picture of this cutie! He is so sweet!

One of Sam's new jobs. Sam is in charge of putting up the silverware when we unload the dishwasher. He does a great job of sorting them out, and just a heads up for anyone who might be eating at our house in the near future!

Sam is so cute. I swear he's getting cuter and funnier by the day. He drives me crazy on a daily basis, but he is my best little friend in the whole world :)

He did it!

Levi did awesome during his test. He did not cry once! The nurses and doctor commented on how good and sweet he was. He actually has the cathetar in in the picture above. Daddy and mommy got to wear those super cool apron things and man did we look good. The whole thing took about 30 minutes and was not nearly as bad as we thought. We found out he does have kidney reflux which is pretty much what we thought. We have an appointment with a urologist on March 1st, so we'll decide on our plan of action then. Thanks for your thoughts today!

Guess who rolled over today!? (back to front!- that's the hard one.) This little guy above! He did for the first time today at Baby Boot Camp, and then at home for daddy :) Big boy is growing up!

And then on a serious note, the same little guy above had an ultrasound done on his kidney's last week. The last 10 weeks of my pregnancy they noticed that Levi had fluid in his kidney's during my ultrasounds. Sam actually had the same exact thing when I was pregnant with him except his cleared up the week before I gave birth to him. They are guessing this is a genetic thing with us, and Levi's is just worse then Sam's was. In the grand scheme of things this is not a big deal, so we are thankful for that. The ultrasound found that he still has fluid in both kidneys, especially the left and also dilation in his urinary tract, we have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow for further testing to see what our next step is. Tomorrow's procedure is not going to be fun (it includes a catheter and some blue dye....) but if it will help Levi get better we're all about it! Say a prayer for our baby tomorrow and we'll keep you updated :)

boys day! daddy was off on Wednesday and we went fishing! chunky monkey above pretty much stayed in his car seat the entire time, but man he looked cute.

Before we get into the fishing, let me clarify that we are in a "dress myself " stage. Sam picked out these highwater sweat pants and wanted to wear his prada shoes.

Sam was so excited about fishing he could barely contain himself. He literally jumped for joy while daddy was getting the pole ready.

On the other hand, Levi couldn't care less.

Look who we watched the Superbowl with! Derrick was not happy with the outcome, but Sam loved his company anyways :)

Dad's Night!

This wonderful project was made for Aaron by Sam at school. Check out the "what makes your daddy happy" question. Sam's response was, "nothing, he's with my mommy". What the?!?! Thanks a lot Sam!

Speaking of dad's night, Sam and Aaron made more bird feeders together at school. We decided to make homemade binoculars and go bird watching in the back yard. Even Levi got in on the fun!

Check out little brother in big brother's bed! Big boy almost looks like he fits in it!

What a day!

This picture pretty much sums up our day. Yucky! Long story short, after waiting in line early this morning, we still did not get Sam into the new preschool we were hoping for (#4 on the waiting list), left my diaper bag/purse at my parent's house, and ran out of gas after picking Sam up from school (this is where a diaper bag with formula and money would have really come in handy!) Thanks God for my mom! I'm sure she thinks I'm a complete space cadet, which today I totally was, but oh well, it ended up being funny :) Thanks again mom! Love you!


On a different note, check out the awesome weekend we had! Gigi, Farfar, and Aunt Abby came to stay with us. We had a blast playing and just hanging out. And thanks to Aunt Abby for being our photographer. I didn't get any with her in them but she was definitely there!
